Had infraorbital rim implants placed 3 weeks ago. I still have bad bruising under my eyes that is red/brown and doesn’t seem to be improving. This is odd because bruising under eyes only lasted 10 days with rhino. Swelling is also a little bad, and worse on my right side. Numbness is also worse on my right side.

Anyone here know how long until the bruising goes down? I still look surgical at week three. with my jaw implants I looked fine after 10-12 days. And how about the swelling? Also is it normal to have more numbness on the right side compared to the left?

I’m thinking about taking oral steroids but not sure that would help with bruising... any help is greatly appreciated

Too earlie yet

My bruising with lower bleph was brutal. I had clear black bruising until about a month. Luckily, the bottom of my glasses covered exactly this spot, so combined with some concealer I could hide it well.

Who was the surgeon?

honestly was about a month before 90% of the swelling went down

I think that area of the face is just prone to swelling

I had bruising for about a month after eye surgery with Taban. Residual swelling for probably 3 months or so.

There good if you lack volume right under the eye but they wont give that deepset look.

I talked to a black market surgeon that used to perform Double Jaw and other oestomies on the face and he told me infraorbital implants wont give you that deep set look models have.

This guy doesnt have wide zygos /cheekbones but his cheekbones are forward grown giving him that deep set look.

foward maxilla/foward cheek bones =everything
