In the coming months I plan on injecting a variety of things into my face. Obviously, I wanna reduce the chance of injecting into a vein or god forbid an artery. Hence, I was wondering if an infrared vein finder would be a good purchase?

To anyone who has used one:
How well do they work?
What are some ones you suggest using?
Is it overkill, would basic knowledge of the veins in the face+aspirating before injecting be good enough as a safety precaution?

Yes, depends a lot on where you're injecting though, I wouldn't risk it for vascular regions like your undereyes.

Filler?

Most arteries are too deep for a veinfinder to actually locate.

@Sick is very experienced in this.

yeah, that and botox, aqualyx, pdo/pcl threads and (maybe if I can find a good source) igf-1-des
For Filler just make sure you buy dissolver and you'll probably be fine.

Aqualyx is fairly simple, and I'm not experienced with botox or pdo/pcl threads.

You can go to:

And ask for advice there, there's tons of women who do this stuff regularly, esp aqualyx & filler
