kinda overadvanced , he didn't need the horizontal genio movement since his chin was already protruding relative to the mandible in the before pic. the vertical movement is solid though

now that i'm looking at it more his chin is shaped weird, even outside the overadvancement. ideally, he needed CW rotation on the genio with a little less vertical movement and no horizontal advancement. instead the surgeon just brought the chin forwards and downwards without rotating it- which is why it has a weird outline from the side profile

Skin stretching and jaw widening as the gonions need to come out slightly when you move the segments forward. Also the muscles usually becomes bigger after bsso as its more for the masseter to carry when the jaw is further forward. But that shouldnt really be visble yet as rhe masseters usually becomes bigger after the 6 months and forward

As of right now im not 100% sure if I like the genio or not but it does give me a look which is really different from 99% of other males I see and I think this actually gives me the edge because I do stand out so much now. I also lost some body fat but have been
leaner before than now and never had my ramus pop like this. I think it really is the stretched skin from the movement. I also look a lot younger than before, but am actually 30, most people think I’m like 23. Best of luck to you man

I think you are right but maybe the angle I posted exaggerating the outcome, not sure. I think in fornt and 3/4 it’s nice but side sometimes a little uncanny but I’m still swollen, epically in the lower lip.

It’s not bragging idiot, try having this surgery yourself and then talk to me how you feel mentally.

The surgeon even told me he does not want to be keep doing DJS / BSSO because it’s to stressful and mainly focus on Genio etc. I will give the Docotrs name after I am done with all my procedures, I need to get my Hardware removed first, also don’t want to set unrealistic expectations because I could have just been lucky. I didn’t even have surgical planning etc.

Great improvement from the front because the extra vertical height. I looked super short faced before and now proper balanced.

Friends and family did not really react much honestly, but there is this new kind of tension when I’m around now, like you can feel the competition even among your friends. It’s obviously super visible but they didn’t tell me anything positive, really fucked with my head honestly. But there girlfriends sure reacted, they can’t hide it and are super flirty, you would not believe it.

One of my best friends told me after clubing in Ibiza couple of weeks back, that I am the center of attention now and he would probably dislike me based on my new looks alone if he wouldn’t have known me before. He told me I just look kind off unique and square. Not sure if he is into looksmaxing and all that kind of stuff.

I think the result balances out your forehead a lot better whether or not people think the side / three fourths is uncanny or not

Bsso lifefuel ngl, I have a similar case to you except the mandible just needs forward advancement I believe.
