Every online game has a mechanic where if you’re on a winning streak they will give you opponents on losing streak so you maximise the dopamine and when you start losing you get matched against the winners, so it creates that frustration and highs, highs and lows keep you attached

I was 450elo peak in chess now I got frustrated and tilted I got matched with some 300 elo prodigies and just fallen
