Intermolar width of 44mm good? Am I measuring it correctly

I bit down on a folden piece of paper, I measured distance of the first molars. And I got back 44mm.

However if I go further back then it goes to 50mm+

Where do I measure it from? Is this a good method. I also used a compass and got back 43mm

You measure it from the second molar

Oh wait I did it wrong I did first pre molar. So second molar?

It would be 50mm then which seems wide af lol. It’s probably like 45mm

could have been wider at younger age. would've made distance between eyes higher. my skulls big so I need a wide palate/IPD to compensate.
