I have a pair of these in a box in my wardrobe. They were gifted to me by my college just before graduation. They look good, but for me they chafe against my ankles and shin when I walk which can be uncomfortable. Sometimes it causes irritation. I rarely wear them

Depends on your budget. I'd recommend Allen Edmunds if you have a bit of cash to spare. Entry level premium shoes but the Thursday boots oxfords are also good if you are on a budget
