IB salaries are incredibly high. Especially if you are in US try to go to high paying jobs like IB, consulting or tech. IB salaries for analysts for bulge brackets like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs etc... starts at 100k+ base salary with bonuses up to again 100k. Also in several elite boutiques like Centerview your base starts at 200k but you probably work 100-120 hours per week.

If you stick around for 3 years you can make it to associate where you can earn up to 300k-500k and maybe 600-800k when you a VP and 1mn+ after MD. In case you want to exit you can go to VCs, PEs or chill corporate finance jobs with astronomically high salaries. Also high maintenance stacies in NYC, LA etc.. loves to hook up with finance bros so you jobmaxx and moneymaxx to get your own stacy. You may also save up enough to overhaul your whole sub5 face and body with LLs, Leforts, HTs etc...

Be warned though these banks will make you work like a dog! 80 hours on a regular week and 120 hours on a live deal . But since it is sort of a brain dead job with excel, financial multiples basic math and desktop research you might be able to make it. Also another warning is that there are 6,5 jawlinemaxxed, hairlinemaxxed chads in the industry as well so they may be the one pounding the hot European analyst on a Saturday night while you are aligning logos for your MD
