Ukraine’s construction boom is looking juicy for cement and building companies, with all the rebuildingroads, homesneeding crazy amounts of materials, like 15-16 million tonnes of cement a year. Big dogs like CRH are already throwing down serious money like €465 millionand with the EU tossing in €50 billion

Here’s the thing, though right now this is mostly a playground for the big wallets. Smaller investors will get sidelined since these projects need serious capital like Kingspan’s $300 million campus or ArcelorMittal’s €40 million upgrades. You need be ultra rich even then you gotta dodge risks like ongoing fighting So while it’s a hot opportunity, it’s kinda locked to the rich or institutional players for now.

Construction boom where in Ukraine?
. Cities like Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil, Kingspan's dropped $300 million on a campus in western Ukraine, and CRH has plants in places like Kamianets-Podilskyi.

Do you think Russia have a construction boom though? I don't keep up with the war at all but I can imagine more money would be invested into Ukraine considering the early life check of their president.

but is now really a good time? sure the EU glazes the hell out of ukraine but the war is still pretty much ongoing no?
theres always profit to be made during war but how long until you would start seeing a significant amount of profit/roi
