iodine beard?

Hello, I saw a thread about a guy microneedling his head and then applying iodine which promoted hair growth. So I looked up iodine and it has hair growth and scar tissue removal properties (https://www.drlowe.com/thyroidscience/editorials/editorials contents.htm - the 2 papers at the bottom by Dr. David M. Derry). But I was wondering if anyone has tried it for beard growth? Does it work if you did and what was your protocol? I tried it a little bit and it improved my acne scars. But I don't really care about my acne scars all that much since the scars are not really deep. Was really hoping to get the tiny little hairs on my face to grow into mature hair. Hoping someone might have some experience or info about this, thx.

I would say try minoxidil and microneedling on your beard area first, or just oral minox
