if a 5'4 white guy said "i will just work hard enough and one day I will be Lebron James tier NBA player" no sane person wouldn't just laugh him out the room. if someone who is deaf says one day they want to be a music critic they will be laughed at. but if you say someone with a 65 iq can become stephen hawking if you just give him enough books you are rewarded in academia despite a litany of evidence, twin studies etc as well as just common sense disproving it.

why is there such an enormous blind spot about this one particular trait. It can't even be explained through "they don't want to appear racist" because chinese are clearly smarter than whites so what is the explanation.

IQMaxing is like LooksMaxing, every one has limitations based on their genetics but there are still plenty that can be done to increase general intelligence:

* HealthMax
* Nutrition optimized for intelligence
* Meditation
* Nootropics
* Hanging Upside down for extended periods promotes extra blood vessel growth in the brain
* Dual N Back training
* Transcranial stimulation (possible)

The bolded ones are massively deep fields for which you can run tons of different experiments on yourself and learn all kinds of different methods.

The cool thing about IQ maxing is that to a certain extent it's a feedback loop. You can use your increased motivation, intelligence, and focus to further research, devise theories, and experiment with ways to increase your motivation, intelligence, and focus.

I will agree with you that "reading books" is not going to help you with your overall intelligence, unless it's to devise experiments within the above categories.

Because it goes FUNDAMENTALLY against the pillars of the pull yourself by your bootstraps society we live in. If you can't change your IQ, you realistically can't change your relative maximum worth.
