is 10 hours of school not normal for other people??

I go to school at 7am and I get dismissed at 5pm and some people were shocked when they heard I go to school for 10 hours

we have extra classes because of the program I'm in

we have robotics, statistics, research, and algebra as extra subjects and the standard classes we have is the same as you guys I think
