It depends a lot on proportions, 6'2-6'4 is still better, but if you've got good torso and leg proportions and a decent physique at 6'6 then you won't look lanky at all, and would still be as a appealing as a 6'4 guy in some instances.

6'2-6'4 will always be better than 6'6, but its not really too tall

Once humans get too tall they start to have serious health problems and don’t work the same way that regular humans do. Most humans above the height of 7ft are a victim of gigantism (but for those who aren’t), they’re probably living fine. Just not ideal.
