Is 7 hours of sleep okay?

Realistically, how bad would losing an hour off the reccomended amount of sleep be?

My schedule is 9-5 and it's ogre. I want to sleep at 10

Sleep is individual but if you don't feel well-rested, you should sleep more. Sleep is underrated and has a positive effect both on your body and your mind. I try to get 8.5 hours of sleep on average.

You'll definitely feel lethargic every day tbh.
You won't be able to work effectively.
You'll have to cope with coffees in the morning and coffee is bad.

Even at 8 hours I feel dead. I recommend you sleep at 8:30 pm and get an extra 1.5 hours of sleep OP. 9 hours is ideal for me.

there is a certain amount of sleep you need for longevity purposes and that's said to be 7.5+ hours (so in bed for bascally 8)
just want to see the science behind it
