Is a fringe bad if you have long midface ?

I will go to the barber tomorrow but i have to make my choice between messy fade and messy fringe (never tried), however i have a longish midface so would it fuck with my harmony since i have longish midface and my forehead will be hiden ?

Seriously ? I always thought that it was necessary to show the forehead in order to harmonize a long midface; so a fringe would be a good idea then ?
