Is a lack of oxygen on the scalp bad for the hair ?

Indeed, wearing tight hats and things for a while can cause thinning, it may suffocate the follicles.

But I wouldnt worry too much as long as its not too tight or unbreathable

Heat open up the pores and the sweat in the scalp combined with the bacteria from the cap can give you bacterial infection(very super duper rare). But beside that if you wear your cap loose then it is ok

Im not that kind of person who is sweating. But i wear Headphones often who cover the ears so they also cover a bit of the hair.
