Is a wolf cut a male hairstyle? Or is it only meant for females

So apparently this haircut I got yesterday is called a wolf cut and it’s “trendy” right now, but my friends on discord said it’s actually a female hairstyle and when I looked up “wolf cut” online only women showed up. I honestly don’t even think it looks like a wolf cut or feminine, just a normal long style, what do you think?
