I have just a little bit of acne, no acne scars but even using a shit ton of different products nothing works.
My nose, on the other hand, looks like a strawberry and has clogged pores.
I want to take accutane but im scared it might make me look worse, since my situation is not that bad.

It will not make you look worse, it even will make your nose a lil bit smaller

Mark as solution with the checkmark on the right ✅ grey
No accutane absolutely terramogs any other acne product on the market. If nothing else works I guarantee accutane will.

Accutane is the best thing you can take. It will prevent future breakouts too. So when you eat goyslop, you won't breakout.

Accutane is not overkill, but the dosage you take could be overkill. The higher the dosage, the more side effects. A lot of people microdose 5-10 mg just fine long term with no sides.

^ 10 mg has given me spotless skin for 6+ months

Accutane will almost definitely work, it's the atom bomb of skin care medication. If it doesn't work, nothing else will. There are a bunch of risks with it, especially scary ones regarding the liver, so GPs are hesitant to prescribe if you only have a little acne as you describe it. You'll probably have to source it somehow.

I think @Clavicular tried it but stopped when he noticed that he had some unhappy liver markers on a blood test. If even he stops something because it's too risky you know it's fucked.

But it works really well. Even when you stop the medication, your sebaceous glands will never become as active/large as before, which permanently attenuates oilyness, redneses, acne, etc. So you probably won't have to use it for the rest of your life.
