Why does no one take into account that there will be a big war soon? We are living in the biggest period of "peace" (at least developed countries) in history, at somepoint tensions rise up too much and everything just explodes.

War will prob be US system vs Chinese one, and I do not know how the woke army of a falling Pax Americana will face off against the Chinese, whose technology is trash and they have created tons of propaganda to scare us all. I see it as two senile people fighting.

Maybe it will have a big cultural effect like ww2 had or maybe not, but im sure that stuff like AI and dating apps will continue to loom over us, I just dont see the posibility of the system changing for the better anytime soon, and if it does it will be gradually.

honestly i just try to ignore all of those things which also bother me and purely focus on my education, career, interests, people in my life etc. obviously there are plenty of problems that are depressing when constantly consuming them but the best cope is to just....not think about it. if i can ignore all of the actual big issues and just focus on stupid stuff that is enjoyable then my mental state is in a better place.

im not a complete idiot who's clueless i'm very into politics ive been studying it at school for almost 3 years and was deeply interested prior to that. i have still come to the conclusion that you should seriously minimise your consumption of negative news especially if it's just the same point being reinforced over and over. focus on your own personal life and how to improve that or go and try to change the world but that's a lot harder.

tldr changing your own personal life is easier than fixing declining birth rates
