is being bigger significant in a fist fight

by bigger i don’t mean height, i mean just being bulkier, not fat though.

for example, let’s say a tall skinny guy, like 5’11 and weighs 130ib were to fight a 5’6 dude that also weights 130ib, who would win? strength wise.

who’s punches would hurt more? etc.

obviously the 5’6 dude, although being the same weight as the tall one, is bulkier,

genuinely curious on this topic, what do you guys think?

Weight classes are a thing for a reason

Someone heavier than you is going to be harder to fight than somebody who is just skinny. The weight makes the punches heavier and the fat can cushion some hits too

it depends because the force equation is

(weight times velocity squared) divided by (gravity times 2)

so swinging faster matters more than weight and gravity helps the taller person

I'm 5'5 and 110 kg and I don't have a problem beating up tall leaner guys tbh they always underestimate me so they rush in and tend to close the distance first which makes it easier to grab and wrestle with them
