As someone whos high func diagnosed, i'd say it has its pros and cons. Although id like to be more "normal" . the pros are that nd's tend to be good at really random specific things/ intrests. more pros but i forgot.

the cons probally outweigh the pros imo, masking , is hell for me. i have decent social skills but im just so fucking awkward at times, may contribute to why i dont have a girlfriend maybe.

I can kinda relate, im awkward not because im nervous but because i dont know how to act. And also what you said about pros i after with. Im extremely focused on my goals and it has helped me alot.
