Is being tall really that important?

I am 6'9"(age 17) and don't understand the importance of being tall regarding looksmaxxing. Other than heaps of physical advantages, it just doesn't seem like it is that important. Are there other features that pair well with being tall?

Ur prolly not 6’9 but still Im 6’2 at 16yo and I got a lot of girls telling me theyd rather date me than my friends just bc they are short. They were all ugly tho but Im thankful Im not short.
