Is Bimax worth it?

I've been recommended for bimax surgery (maxillomandibular advancement and CCW rotation and maybe genio too) and will do it after my orthodontic preparation finishes but I might have to pay some percentage of the cost out of pocket idk might be smth like 6-10k do you guys think it's worth it aesthetically. Can it realistically save me. Feeling kinda conflicted on this and what my expectations should be. Also do I have a gummy smile? It looks so forced and awkward and I feel like I have excess maxilla but at the same time no visible gum when I smile which is odd.

My mandible is kinda downgrown wouldn't that make it worse lmao having a wide downgrown jaw. Also I was a chronical mouthbreather till recently. but yea maybe ur right idk
