Is bonesmashing cope?

I've seen a lot of discourse regarding bonesmashing on there. I believe it's not because of Wolff's law, how temporary swelling can become permanent, and multiple people have posted about how AI has said it would work. What are you guys' thoughts? And let me know why specifically you answered why or why not.

i think it works but skin damage/aging is a concern as well as damaging hair follicles if smashing chin or jaw also we cant know if the growth is actual bone or just scar tissue, another theory is that scar tissue over time becomes bone
