For a very long while I used to think it was the same game whenever I saw it appear on videos and I never cared to memorise the name so I was confused why some ppl thought it was a masterpiece and others thought it was a woke garbage with no story

Story isnt very linear you choose how it progresses.

i played it it was good i think if you dont like turn based games its not for you though. the world is fun to explore and the combat is fun and theres a lot of ways to be creative.

plus you can fuck a hot demon girl.

The first two acts of the game are quite strong but the last act feels rushed.
However, the game mechanics are a lot of fun so it's probably worth a buy.

Just buy it and try it out if you dont like the combat refund it.

and if you like roleplay and character stuff this game is for you this is a perfect game for "make your own adventure" it really feels like your adventuring with a group of friends. or you can be a chad and only have girls in your party to make a harem.

I enjoyed 3 but the story had too many shortcomings to be the best in my book.
ME2 was effectively a soft reboot and created a lot of problems for the third to deal with.
It had the potential to be the best but fell short because of this imo.

Heads up it's a long fucking game; I'm talking 100+ hours.

I played it's predecessor Divinity Original Sin 2 and holy fuck that game had such a high learning curve. I heard Baldcel's gate 3 is a refined version of that, so you should enjoy it provided you are willing to learn the systems in that game.

Again these are long fucking games meant for rotmaxxing.

Yeah, it's dated. Fortunately, almost all of the planet exploration stuff is optional.
I warned that most people here won't be able to get into the game for this reason.
It's probably older than half of org's userbase.

We'll see. Lionhead studios closed almost a decade ago. The people that made the original game are likely long gone.
