This guy presents some good points as to why bodybuilding-style weight training is a waste of time.

yeah don't do shitty body building workouts you see on youtube just do heavy compound lifts and some accessories if necessary and progressive overload

Just being skinny will mog most males already imo.

Being skinny isn’t that much of an advantage. While obesity is prevalent, those guys are virtually out of the dating pool anyway. You need to be fit, not skinny imo

Genetically, I have a much easier time gaining strength than gaining size

Lift weights and eat at caloric maintenance/slight deficit.

Keeps you lean with some muscle (what girls want).

If you want to be a mass monster, take steroids.

Heavy natty compound movements. Plyometric style training with a focus on SLEEP DIET AND PROGRESSIVE overload, is the way to go. If you have good sleep, good lifestyle, aren't double digit IQ, and just increase the weight over time in your workouts without sacrificing the volume, frequency, intensity you were working at... then that's the way to do it.

Steroids are just a cheat.. Like if you pop percocets everyday and do things you wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. You just LOSE over time. After a while the problems can't be cheated and they need to be dealt with.

If someone made a natty training thread in BOTB it'd be top tier

It is waste of time.

Just be decent muscular and lean. Don't have to overdo it. You are wasting time and money. Women don't even like those bodybuilder muscles. Just be lean like surfer and you are fine.

Seriously these. No matter how much muscle you add, as long as you are natural you will look smaller in clothes than some random dude who is just fat.

Thats why tall skinny guys are popular with girls. That is the only way being both natural, low body fat and an intimidating size in real life.

True, it's good to have only as much muscle to "look muscular and fit" being a roidbeast ages you faster. The lighter you weigh, the slower you'll age. The less cells in your body, the slower you age.
