Ill be finishing my final high school exams in june, and I have no idea what I want to do after that.

Ppart of me wants to just keep my current job and go to college, but I also found this flight attendant job that doesn’t require any experience and pays around three times more than what I’m making now. Plus I alr have a friend who works there
(If I were to go to college, Id go into political science n let’s be fr its jackshit in terms of job opportunities)

whats yalls opinion

If you know what you want to do with your life and know what you need to do in order to do it, then no lmao. But for most people it probably is

going to college for 4 years to get a degree, which you have 0.5 job opportunities per year for, over a job right now with better pay and with a hb AND its a flight attendant job? i think its pretty clear which is the better choice.
Overall, yes, college is useless unless u pick a major that u really have passion and interest for.

literally just depends where you live and what your specific goals are, in my country decent jobs require a degree so i cant skip college

Yes. I went to uni to study marine biology, and work in security
It’s only worth it if you’re gonna do postgrad, phd etc, if you’re hoping to get specific jobs
A degree will give u some more opportunities for positions requiring a degree, but you’d be better off just working during that time

College is kinda useless in 2025 unless you pick a really good subject/go to a really good uni or pick a subject you have passion in

its cope, get a decent paying job and grind out side hustles/business while living with parents and stacking cash

Statistically bachelors earn more money on average so no don't listen to the pothead dropouts

Not cope at all, just make sure your college is highly ranked and you pick a good major

You can basically statusmax and moneymax following pure textbook steps with 0 risk

College is about whether you can get the profession you need with the help of your parents or not after studying, many people then do not find the profession they studied for because they do not understand this reason

You can attain degrees and certifications while working. Having a job that's also well paying is very important rn. The job market is absolutely brutal.
Of course, you'll miss out on the college experience™. For a traveling job too? There's a chance you'll be socially stunted. And to be clear, a college degree is very important. Either that or a real career. That is, whatever you do instead of college should be something you can build upon beyond your 30s.
Ppl forget they still have to work past their youth. You won't do those bullshit tradie and gig economy jobs forever.
