you can do basic CS/programming homework on the cpu in the average smart appliance

just get the cheapest laptop you can find for studying on the go (bonus of preventing you from wasting time gaming when you should be doing work) and build a shitty desktop for gaming that will mog the fuck out of a gaming laptop at half the price
