is dsip a cure for insomnia?

very strangely last year out no where i seemingly got insomnia but now it’s been a year and i haven’t gotten proper sleep in that whole year. sleeping is genuinely the worst part of my day i lay in bed for atleast 2-3 hours just so i can fall asleep. i really need to know if dsip is a good cure for insomnia or do i need to take something else alongside dsip for it because living like this is pure torture.

Just take melatonin
damn bro i wouldn’t have been questioning the remedy of dsip if i know melatonin existed! and yes i tried melatonin it didn’t work and in the long term it’s bad for you.

Then take more and no its not bad
 
I took like 20mg once and it didn’t even do anything
You can easily buy 60mg of liposomal melatonin and even take multiple if you need it, also take it earlier than you think youd need so liek 3 or 4 h before you sleep

Also dsip wont make you sleep it will juts make sleep deeper so its notnusefull against your issue. Also the data on it is very limited and even if it wasnt it probably wouldnt be able to do much anyway since youd have to force your body into sleeping by using benzos or z drugs which is gonna disrupt your sleep a ton

1 megadose melatonin, so 100-200mg

If it doesnt work,absolute worst case scensario and you feel like you need to fix it, benzos or z drugs work. They also make you anxious and make you feel like absolute shit, everything looks grey and you just feel super depressed, restless and always on edge so not worth it imo, i used them before and it wasnt worrh it

@Steingrímu Björn look into “Chemix cortiblock with emodin”, it stops the formation of cortisol, the stress hormone and insomnia tends to be stress based. One capsule before bed should do it but be careful it turns your piss darker

I do but there isnt really anything good on the market that is well supported. All gaba antagonists have fukces side effects and then theres really just some antihistamines which are either not sttong enough or also come with fucked side effects like benadryl

And it also seems unlikely that he has stress induced insomnia since hed probably know and its also lost common in prople woth high stress work invirioment and or taking care of other people which is unlikely that he does since most people here just go to school

the issue with my insomnia is that i just can’t stop fucking thinking about random things ass soon as i’m ready to go to sleep, not being able to stay asleep is not the biggest issue although i find myself waking up at 7 very frequently for no apparent reason, and yeah my sleep isn’t that deep which is why dsip could help in that department.

Having to take it isnt really that bad since its a cheap easily accesible drug

Maybe you could try atarax,i use it a bit for anxiety and it calms my mind but it doesnt make me go to sleep but try it

it’ll become a pain in the ass especially when you have to live your whole life having to take melatonin pills just to be able to sleep!

thanks for the rec but im not really sure if its a anxiety issue or not i mean like i said i never had it but out of nowhere i just got it and it made me hate life so much.
