Wild Alaskan King Salmon is good when it is in season and you can find it at a reasonable price. The wild Coho Salmon that is far more common is almost always dry. The farmed Salmon from Canada or Norway/Sweden tastes far better. Granted the Omega 3 content of North Atlantic farmed is like 50% lower than wild Salmon, but it is still very high. The Salmon farmed in the warm waters like in Chili or Mexico has crap Omega 3 content, you might as well eat chicken. The biggest problem with farmed Salmon is Mercury content, not that it isn't a potential problem, but I don't see the Mercury content as a deal killer.
