Is fasting and sprinting really gonna increase growth hormone?

Im tryna grow taller this summer. I’m 16 turning 17 this autumn. I am 5,9, dad is same and my mother is around 5,6 5,7. I workout a lot and I’ve dialed my sleep and diet as much as I can. I’m right now cutting but thinking about maintaining or doing a slight bulk since I figured it’s much harder to grow when being in a caloric deficit. Why I’m cutting is because I feel bad about how i look but I’m willing to sacrifice my looks to grow a bit taller. Not that it will fuck me over completely but yeah. Just looking for some genuine advice on what to do here.

yes but it's truly not worth it, if people on hgh and other things for height barley get it in the first place, why would you? injections would do way more then just running

i've been doing fasted workouts followed by high sugar fruit post exercise. the idea is the training in a fasted state boosts growth hormone (HGH), and the insulin spike from fruit increases IGF-1 levels. I'm 18 and after doing this for a month i feel like ive grown about an inch. i prefer eating green apple

nice man! how often do you fast and sprint? I’ve been thinking about a 24hour fast once a week (something like tuesday lunch to wednesday lunch) followed by breaking the fast with natural sugars. is that enough?

absolutely! its enough but make sure you workout in that fasting state
i was fasting for 24 hours once a week and i sprinted when i fast

don't cut while you're growing you retard, ghrelin stimulates gh so just do intermittent fasting. cutting will stunt your growth

i know man it’s all because of my first bulk. I went way too far and then i developed severe body dysmorphia and I felt like ppl treat me different when I’m not ”fat”

Just don't starve yourself, it will stunt your growth if you do it for too long. gl man
