Is forward growth what makes your face angular even at higher bf%?

Seen people look quite angular at 15%ish bf while others look quite recessed at 10% bf. As such, is the forward growth of your maxilla and mandible the biggest components of how angular your face looks? Or are there others (guessing bone thickness, skin thickness might also play a role)

But I'd imagine for cheekbones, lateral projection of zygos might matter more

Some combo of forward growth, water retention, skin thickness and fat storage determined by hormones and genetics (local fat cell hyperplasia). There are even plenty of people who have decent forward growth who still look bad at higher Bodyfat percentages, just see any forward grown actor bulking up for a role or just even getting fat.
