When I only watched the 8 minute clip circulating around the media, I thought so too.

Watching the full 30 minute video, combined with finding out more about George Floyd, I came to realize the cops did nothing wrong. He should have died much sooner.

I don’t see how that would change the fact that kneeling on someone’s neck for 8 minutes while they slowly pass out and cry for their mom isn’t disturbing. Maybe there was no other option to restrain him or they were just following protocol, but it was a pretty disturbing video nonetheless. It’s not like 99% of black white police interactions where the black person is clearly in the wrong

He swallowed a lethal amount of fentanyl when the cops initially approached his car. He would have died no matter what. The knee was simply crowd control (when a 240 pounder is high as a kite on fentanyl, simple handcuffs aren't enough)
