Is glossing the smarter move for darker hair?

Recently, my hair has gotten lighter (probably from sun exposure), and it doesn’t look as dark brown as before. I don’t really want to use permanent dye because I’m worried of looking unnatural.

I saw that there are glossing or toning treatments (for example, Schwarzkopf Brillance Glossing) that claim to add pigment and shine without fully dyeing the hair. They’re supposed to be semi-permanent and wash out in a few shampoos.:hnghn:

Got the same genetically from my parents, one blonde, one brown haired. So mine gets lighter from uv exposure. I wouldn‘t do anything bout it. It looks good with tanned skin. Self toning looks unnatty after 2 weeks
