Is going for a "no shampoo routine" a bad idea ?

I saw online that you can use little to no shampoo at all and that your hair will look way better after a few weeks (and that you don't ever need to use shampoo after that). Is it a good idea ? Idk if my hair is adapted to this routine and I'd like some advices. Also, I'm actually using a shampoo and a conditioner that is supposed to be "good" for my hair but all it does is making my hair flat and ugly as hell. If someone tried or is actually doing this, can y'all tell me how it went ?

if your hair becomes flat you’re probably using too much conditioner. You’re supposed to rinse most of it off you know. Too much product makes your hair heavy and so it becomes flat when finished drying.

Use egg yolks as shampoo once a week.

Coconut oil/honey mask if you get frizz

Apart from that, never put anything in your hair.

i don't think it's because of that because I spend a lot of time getting rid of any once of shampoo or conditioner in my hair while showering, and last time I did a shampoo (yesterday) my hair still became flat so idk if that's how my hair is supposed to look but I heavily prefer my hair 3 to 4 days after shampoo where it gets texture naturally (or maybe it's because my hair gets oily, tbh I don't think it does but it might be a reason ig). But thanks a lot for your answer, I'll try to be even more cautious when using conditioner if I continue to do so ..

Egg yolks have a very mild smell. The smell of your soap will overpower it.

It won't become oily because its a shampoo silly
