Is gum contouring a way to avoid getting CharlieKirkMaxxed from lip lift?

I want to get a lip lift to shorten my philtrum; and while I don't have a complete gummy smile, it's definitely not ideal. A lip lift would definitely give me more gum show, making me look like the Kirk. To avoid this, would doing gum contouring first BEFORE a lip lift help fix the chance of a gummy smile after the lip lift?

get it after if u rly need to i guess and yes it can but its not ideal or healthy. just do a lip lift but only enough to not kirk-ify you. also you may need a le fort 1 impaction upwards to reduce your gummy smile before you do a lip lift for an ideal smile/face

if you have a gummy smile it might be a maxillary issue
get that checked first
