I saw a theorem before which implied that having an Indian friend is like having -2 friends, whereas having a black friend counts as having 2 friends, having a white friend is just 1 friend etc

So like if you have 3 friends, an Indian, a black and a white guy, people will see you as only having one friend, which will affect your social standing.
