Is having female friends the norm?

Does the average guy have female friends? Not counting those cringe teenage large groups of males and females

The closest I’ve had to female friends is laughing with a couple of girls in my form at school in around Year 7 to Year 9

Males are just more fun to be around, so having female friends seems jester
