I think it's healthy without any of the flavoring packets. We make em like that for our kid. Just the ramen brick cooked with a little olive or sesame oil and no flavor packet.

Me, I'll often eat 3 bricks after getting home from work. 3 bricks of ramen boiled for like 2 minutes before straining them then adding olive oil and one chicken flavoring packet.

She likes the gourmet Korean type of ramen you'll find at the Asian markets. A little more expensive.

They'll have more stuff in them like dehydrated green onions and other vegetables, special oil packets, heartier soup base packets, and even boiled eggs.
