I have a huge assymetry in jaw angle and my public hospital surgeon proposed to equilibrate it with a big jaw angle titanium implant only on left side (+10mm lateral). All for free. But he said he cannot put an implant on the right because the left implant would become too big, I guess the muscles need to adapt because they are already strecheted a lot already with +10mm.
Would this prevent me to get a new PEEK jaw angle implant on both sides on top of the old one to get flarred gonions in a later surgery ? The muscle would have adapted well to the new stretched position after a while I guess ?
