Is it good to use the quick add method on snapchat?

I never really did it much but the few times I did i meet a girl and we talk for a while and then it ends up shitty. I did it again today and I met this girl and shes pretty cool and I think she looks nice and shes like 30 minutes out from me, I want to keep talking to her but i dont know if I should. Me and her snapped all day today and i got to know her and she got to know me anfshe said goodnight to me and she gave me her tiktok and i gave her mine . Am I doing good or am I just heavily overthinking it? What do I do about this? Am I doomed before it even started or do I have a chance?
