when i got my mum to do it, measuring from my back i got the same, about 22 inches

pls tell me pajji how to measure properly

They’re all valid, the tape measure just leads to different measurements because curvature of your chest/back adds extra sometimes. If you’re that paranoid about lying to yourself just do all three and take the average.

Are you in disbelief you have a large frame or something, then most likely you have a 22 inch bideltoid. Military uses calipers, from the back which is pretty much the same as the wall method.

idk, it doesnt feel that big but then again im fairly tall, fuck idk what to believe

Take an object whose measurements you know, it could be a pringles can, now stand with your back against the wall and put the object horyzontally at the level of your shoulders . Take the can with one hand and straight as possible just using the forearm

Example 2

Now tell your mom to take the picture and use an application like ImageMetter to put the measurement of the can as a reference, and then measure from shoulder to shoulder.
