Is it normal to get no matches on Tinder?

So I made an account on Tinder and even got unlimited swipes and boost and all I got are 15 likes and like 3 matches from all ugly landwhales after 24 hours. Is this the average normie experience in America? I used to get decent amount of matches and dates in Russia but am practically invisible here.
