Is it normal to have less hair on the top of my head?

Theres less hair in that area compared to the sides. I can feel the lack of volume when running my hands through that area.

When Im in shower and take a picture of it theres long streaks of scalp show and no hair running down the middle of my head in that one area.

The rest of my hair has volume and feels full.

I experience the same thing as you described in your post but it doesn't mean necessarily that you are losing hair or will lose it, it may be genetics or you may just have a different hair complexion. I distinctly noticed the progress of my thinning, i also have bald spots on corners when my hair is wet or oily but thinning generally stopped in last year and my hair still looks completely normal and full when dry.

Are you sure it's not just the center of a hair whirl dude?

My hair is naturally thin on top and thick on the sides, it's been that way since I was a little child. Just keep an eye on it OP.

I dint think so, it looks straightish and its not very visible when my hair is wet. Most people dont notice it.

No. You're balding

I think you are supposed to have more on the top plus the hairs are stronger on the top. They are not the same as the sides. I had someone explain it to me once.

more blood circulation at the top compared to sides

the further it is from the brain and rest of the body - the less hair u get

that is why u have more hair at the back of ur head and near the top of the neck

and less hair at the top but more than the sides

PM me a pic and I'll tell you whether you're balding. I think you're overreacting though.
