Is it normal to still think about your ex from 3 years ago

I haven't dated anyone since her. I just woke up from some weird hallucinogenic dream about her, it was like a dream within a lucid dream.

I was reliving how it felt in the first few weeks/month feeling all of the good emotions and stuff but then I can became incredibly distressed and tried to wake up but I couldn't wake up, the feelings were good but I didn't want to experience them.

When I "woke up" I was in my childhood room and the bed was in orientation it was 3 years ago and my legs were numb and I couldn't move them, it kept switching between those 2 things

Then eventually I woke up back into real life (not my childhood room).

I think it's cuz I slept with headphones which had an old song on which i hadn't listened to since her.
