i have been worried if i would be taller for a while now (Im 5'8) so i went to the endocrinologist, who asked for left wrist x-way, which i did. turns out my hand bones closed, wrist still open, and my bone age is 17-18 (im 16 and 9 months)
doc said i wont grow anymore and i was devastated, like wtf? i thought ppl grew till ATLEAST 18, is it absolutely over for me? even if i blast shit, do intensive sports, nothing? wont grow like 1cm atleast? if i could be atleast 5'9 i'd be chill

Where do you live? It's over if you're in a tall european country like netherlands, dinaric alps etc. But if you live in a country like the US, italy, canada, etc you're about average. It's a small failo but not nearly a death tier one. If you're in an ethnic country you could even be above average or even tall. Phillipines avg height for men is like 5'4 I think. So if anything you could geomaxx

Most guys don’t significantly grow past 16-17.
I’ve literally stopped at 14.

And no it’s not over. I assume you are close to 175cm, which is on the shorter side but nothing extreme. You should still blend in pretty well.
It’s a disadvantage though.

you stopped at 14? it’s over for me. 5’5.6 14 years old hit puberty EARLY.

Yes, major growth was complete there. I gained additional 2cm at the most after turning 14.

Nowadays, early puberty has become increasingly unusual and may be linked to unhealthy environments filled with toxins and sedentary habits, which can disrupt hormonal profiles during critical developmental stages.

It’s a pity, as early puberty may be associated with an earlier peak in testosterone levels, restricting the time-span for development.

Neither low nor excessively high testosterone levels are ideal for development- a healthy and balanced hormonal profile is essential for optimal growth and well-being.

Lets be honest, your parents are midgets- at least you probably should not have any regrets, since you clearly ended up taller, than what is usually expected.
Again your current height is nothing major, its not like you are an 162cm dwarf, that will get rejected in 99% of cases solely due to his height.

They get slightly taller but not more dimorphic.
Where do you live?
I see a LOT of taller kids and some more dimorphic. I live in dmv (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.

sorry bro its completely over for short people under 5'10. It's an instant turnoff for women when a guy is short. We are basically cursed. Dumb moms are short.

They are definitely not more dimorphic than previous generations. This is again confirmation bias. The average post and prenatal T-levels have dropped significantly.
Maybe some become outliers, since steroid abuse has become exceedingly popular amongst teens.

they’re at least taller and have bigger dicks

if you do things properly might even reach 5.11 imo

Is it statistically confirmed, that they have larger dicks during their prime than healthy and well fed previous generations?

Yeah but people with Klinefelter-Syndrome are taller than average as well.
Due to hormonal differences the growth plates may close relatively slower, leading to more longitudinal growth.
Which may sound nice on paper but these guys usually still end up lanky/ weaker with more fragile bones, since testosterone does play a key role here.

From a purely bio-mechanical and survivability standpoint being 190+ is almost useless. Its current popularity is almost solely tied to social and status- related factors.
Taller individuals require significantly more energy to maintain their larger bodies. This includes more caloric intake to support basal metabolic needs, which can be problematic in resource-scarce environments. Reasonably smaller body sizes (180-190) are more energy-efficient and better suited to survival in harsh conditions, without significantly loosing out on strength.
Of course, they also loose out on reflex speed and agility, which would not have been particularly helpful in previous times.

Extremes are rarely attractive, however men just naturally surge for more, especially given that body insecurities amongst adolescents are peaking right now.
Actually being over 6`1 has an absolutely negligible impact in triggering the females primal instincts. It may be more desirable at this moment in time, since we live in peace and survivability is almost guaranteed.
