Is it possible to develop schizophrenia, or can you only worsen it?

These past few months I have noticed my mental health decrease drastically. I’m not gonna get into everything but just now I started freaking out and snarling in a high pitched voice. This may sound funny as fuck but I’m genuinely concerned. These past few days I’ve thrown ridiculous tantrums over small shit. I cannot stop swearing, I literally tell myself I’m stupid and useless. I am smiling as I’m typing right now.

jeez bro. It can take up to your early to late 20's for men to develop schizophrenia

Would marijuana be one? Ngl when I get really high I’m insane. I haven’t smoked in a week but even then I get moments like this.

When you drop into different actual speaking voices, that’s like a personality of you coming out. Like if a person is talking like a child, it means they feel like a child at that second. Work on not being a fragmented person and being whole

Im assuming there are ways to avoid it or at least keep it from getting worse?

well, if written in your genetics then its inevitable. Id suggest seeing a phycitrist about your early symptoms

Lmfao I just realized I posted this in the looksmaxxing section.

how old are you

shizophrenia usually presents in men in late adolescence/early twenties so you could be on the cusp

go see a psychiatrist and get a diagnosis, dont get jewed into taking any jewish pills though

also do an elimination diet

i think i triggered almost-chronic anxiety when i smoked weed on my teenage years

schizophrenia can be triggered by something as simple as THC genes to test for susceptibility are as follows:

Same bro, my mothers side has a history of mental illness though it may be genetic.

Certain drugs, particularly cannabis, cocaine, LSD or amphetamines, may trigger symptoms of schizophrenia in people who are susceptible. Using amphetamines or cocaine can lead to psychosis, and can cause a relapse in people recovering from an earlier episode.

Anyone can have a "first break" at anytime in their life. Schizophrenia usually surfaces though in your 20s to mid 30s.

This. Or even some trauma or shock

It depends though. 2 years ago I would swear to god that I was developing some serious mental issue like borderline personality or some shit.

Nowadays I realize that I'm pretty much ok and everything I feel is reasonable and justified given the knowledge and aspirations that I have...

Usually, you are not self-aware if you are in the middle of a psychotic episode. Only once the episode is finished do you begin to get a sense of rationality. For this reason alone it's unlikely that you're developing schizophrenia...
