Is it possible to have hollow cheeks while being recessed?

My chin is recessed but my jawline is defined and i have hollow cheeks. I thought you needed a prominent chin for both those things, or is it just bcuz im low bf?

You need to have somewhat prominent cheekbones with a wide defined jaw. You don’t need perfect forward growth for this to occur, but your forward growth has to be above average at the very least

I don’t have good forward growth but i have very high cheekbones. Also what about east asians with hollow cheeks, how do they have them without having good forward growth

i have good lateral cheekbones and okayish jaw width yet i have hollow cheeks in certain lights at above 15% bf

This. i don't have the best chin but when i'm lean i have very noticeable hollow cheeks + defined jaw. from the front you may think i have overall good growth but from the side you still would think that thanks to my chin beard
