I always do that. I often wear dress shoes with hard leather soles which makes it hard for me to get a feel of the clutch. So I take off my shoes and drive with socks on. It gives me more precise control and more confidence. I use clutch often to rev match and do engine breaking to maximize the mileage. Is this strange? My coworker found it strange.
