Is it strange that I take off my shoes when I drive manual?

I always do that. I often wear dress shoes with hard leather soles which makes it hard for me to get a feel of the clutch. So I take off my shoes and drive with socks on. It gives me more precise control and more confidence. I use clutch often to rev match and do engine breaking to maximize the mileage. Is this strange? My coworker found it strange.

It is totally normal to always take your shoes off for everything if you are Curry or Japanese.
