Is it too late for forward jaw growth at 17?

I’m currently 16.5 years old, but I’ll only be able to start orthodontic treatment around 17 due to financial reasons. I’m worried that by that time jaw growth might already be finished.
Is there anything I can do right now to preserve or improve my facial profile (upper/lower jaw) and maximize my growth potential before seeing an orthodontist? Are there any preparatory steps that would make sense at this stage?

Nothing crazy happens after that age, don’t worry. Do your treatment to correct whatever it is you need to correct. If you still don’t like your face after treatment, save up for surgeries.
