Is it true that fasting kills collagen?

Despite the IF meme, fasting can is actually quite stressful on the body, increasing cortisol and free fatty acids. I wouldn’t be surprised if this had some negative effects on the skin

i do one meal per day IF and from my experience quality of food is way more important

for longer fasting id say prob not ideal for skin

no, it's good for the skin. read up on autophagy and cellular apoptosis.
this should be right. IF isn't fucking you up realistically if you get your cals and nutrients in. 2 week water fasting might

i thought it's the opposite since when you are fasting and your blood sugar is low you release hgh which helps with building collagen

meditation and plenty of water and sunlight could combat this.

But it's true, too much cortisol cucks your collagen.
